Nike

PROJECT DETAILS

During my six years with Nike Brand Design, I supported virtually every vertical within the company with product and event messaging, athlete profiles, seasonal initiatives and brand strategy.

I was also a proven team player, as evidenced by perfect attendance on the "Smell the Glove" departmental softball team.

-Nike Fitness Dance Campaign-

Rock Your Workout

Chances are, you were dancing long before you knew it was good for you. Well, dance diva, now you can take center stage at the gym, because from hip hop to Zumba, fitness dance classes are the hottest new way to break a sweat. (Not to mention a great way to mix up your workout routine.)

Of course, we don’t want you all dressed up with no place to groove, so we’re introducing a new fitness dance collection that’s made to move in the studio and beyond. We've also teamed up with professional choreographer Jamie King to create the Nike Rockstar Workout, a funky, fast-paced cardio class that’s all about attitude. Check it out at a Crunch gym near you—then get ready to move like the star you are.

-Nike Zoom Ad-

Speed Comes in Different Flavors.

Sport makes different demands on different athletes. Sometimes it's about getting from point A to B as fast as possible. But more often it's about making a quick burst of speed in a direction you don't even know you're going until you go there. In other words, sometimes it's better to be quick than fast. Nike Zoom is for the quick.

-Superbowl Nike Athlete/Footwear Profiles-

Ricky Williams

Size, speed and strength don’t make Terrell Owns a dangerous weapon. They make him the ultimate weapon. Catch him if you can? Yeah, right. Terrell has earned All-Pro and Pro-Bowl honors, and his 20 receptions against Chicago in 2000 broke a 50-year NFL record.

In the off-season, Owens maintains his turf-melting speed on the basketball court, which could explain why he’s such a big fan of the Air Zoom Blade D. Like a basketball shoe, it features a dynamic Dri-FIT inner sleeve for a glove-like fit and enhanced support. Factor in the ultra-light design and revolutionary 7-stud outsole, and you’ve got a new weapon in the arsenal of players everywhere.

-Reuse-a-Shoe Footwear Recycling Initiative-

Get Your Old Shoes Back in the Game

Used to be, when athletic shoes wore out, it was out of the gym bag and into the landfill. Then Nike had an idea: why not take those old shoes and turn them into something else?

With that, Reuse-A-Shoes was born—a program that takes athletic shoes of every brand size, and color and turns them into Nike Grind. This unique ground-up material is then used to resurface athletic fields, courts, tracks and playgrounds.

To participate, just bring your used shoes to any participating Nike store, and we'll take it from there. Next thing you know, your shoes will be given new life as a sport surface—and the environment will score a major win.

It’s crazy to see writing that sounds exactly like me —but better. I was blown away by the copy.
